Favorites - I would prefer to call these "My Best Insights", since the reason I enjoyed them was not derived from their profit potential but rather the synergy that was created when a series of observations could be woven into a larger theme. As happens maybe once or twice a year, the fog lifts and you can clearly see the path ahead. Creating trade ideas from this point is easy with the only issue being sizing.
A side comment based upon the above: The hardest part of being a "Type A" trader is "not" doing a trade. One always wants to be involved in the markets, but the skill is to keep your powder dry for those few times a year when you can "see the ball", then you swing.
